Duo Saxe
Duo Saxe is a Norwegian duo which has existed since 2001 and consists of flautist Charlotte Udø Adriaenssens and guitarist Runar Kjeldsberg Jakobsen. They took the name “Duo Saxe” in 2006. Saxe is an old family name in Runar’s family and comes from his ancestors from Saxen in Germany.
Even if the duo is quite young, they have already given several concerts in Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
During summer 2010 Duo Saxe will play at
"Niksic international guitar festival" in Montenegro.
Our vision
For us it is important to make a good concert experience for the audience. We enjoy creating an open and relaxed communication between us performers and the audience. We want to step away from the stiff and polite concert situations which belong to earlier centuries. Only when everybody feels relaxed and free, can there be a true musical communication.
